Square Mile Music Series
The Square Mile Music Series has offered free lunchtime recitals for over a decade. These concerts are on hold until further notice but we welcome you to join us for our Square Mile Squared concerts given by Seraphim. The first concert is on 15th October at 6.45pm and will be held on online.
“In October, Seraphim will perform music to celebrate the Harvest of the Sea; a great and wonderful tradition attached to St Mary-at-Hill church. We mark this annual festival with music specially written for the occasion. Sumsion’s ‘They that go down to the sea in ships’ will be surrounded by new music taken from commissions and our festival composition competitions. Seraphim are very much looking forward to sharing this music and marking such a special occasion.” – R Mingay-Smith, Director of Music
We hope we will be able to once again welcome applications to play at weekly recitals. Please check back here or contact our Director Music, Robert Mingay-Smith (firstname.lastname@example.org)
